Basically, white breads are the most common breads and are easier to produce than other breads. The main ingredients of white breads are wheat flour, yeast, salt, and water. Berthel is a traditional southern German savory bread. Berthel is also baked sweet! Brioche dough is used to bake this bread. Yeast and butter are added to flour and water.

The point here is that before putting the bread dough into the oven, the bread is placed in a special liquid and then coarse grains of salt are sprinkled on it. This gives the bread dough more cohesion before putting it in the oven.
